History of U-CAN DANCE!
Debra and Jim Cleckler started U-CAN DANCE! in 1999. The first event was a two day workshop held at North Druid
Hills Road at I-85.
The instructors included Bill Robinson, Barry Wood, Larry Bass, Rose Haven, Doc Cross and Pat Nix, Wanda Fulton, June
Shuman, Kim Galpin, Wayne and Judy Zwick and last but by no means least Vonnie Marie (Jim's first dance teacher).
NTA accreditation training was also offered with Debra and Dan Fishback teaching and testing.
